The Technological Park comprises a public area of 731,000 m², at Avenue Arcênio Riema, nº 601, Industrial District – Una I, where high technology industrial districts will be created, with business technology incubator, technical schools and universities. The project aims to stimulate and diffuse science, technology and innovation, producing tax benefits at the three governmental levels: federal, state and municipal, as well as international agreements and treaties focused on the technological sectors.
The project will focus on the following areas: Railway Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering (Rotating Wing), Public and National Defense, Green Energy, T.I.C. (Information Technology, Communication and Governance); Health: Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Medical Applications, Water, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, Real Estate Sector and Industrial Condominium of Innovation and Technology.
There are three phases that involve the development of the Technological Park: the design, planning and structuring of the enterprise. The first phase involves the design of the project itself, the planning, the legalization of the area and the earthworks. In the second phase, FATEC (Faculty of Technology of the State of São Paulo) will be installed. The construction is already in the bidding process, as well as the construction of the Entry Portal.
In these two phases will be invested around R$ 7 million (About two million and two hundred thousand dollars). The appeal will come in part from the private initiative due to judicial agreements that the administration has been celebrating with the Public Ministry, and the remaining amount will be subsidized by the Municipality.
In the third phase the call for building and management of the Park will be held.
With the Technological Park, Taubaté city will have a new development cycle, as well as a planned urbanization of an area not previously considered a growth vector.
